Children, animals and everything that needs a licence

Lesson 10 of 11 in Casting.

Lesson

Some shoots need paperwork before anybody arrives, and the rules are local. Children working in many jurisdictions require a licence from a local authority, limits on hours, breaks, tutoring on long jobs and a chaperone, who is either a parent or an adult the authority has approved.

An ink drawing of a girl at a kitchen set with a chaperone beside her, a handler kneeling with a spaniel on a lead, and a tutor waiting at a side table.
