Set design inside a prompt

Lesson 11 of 11 in Set design.

Lesson

Everything a set designer decides is describable, and describing it is what separates a generated interior with a point of view from the model's default room. Ground, surface, sheen, horizon height, what is near, what is far, where the window is.

Depth, pose and edge maps feeding one generation, each fixing a different property.
On the left a phone shows a photo of three cardboard boxes on a table by a window, and on the right a finished interior has a vase, books and a lamp in the same positions, joined by dotted lines.
A rough phone photo of three boxes on a table becomes a finished scene with objects in the same places. A quick block-out fixes the space, and the image tool adds material and light.
