Vehicle livery

Lesson 6 of 12 in Applications.

How to Design a Car Wrap on a Vehicle Template · We Print Wraps
Lesson

A vehicle is a moving billboard that is read for perhaps two seconds by somebody driving, which makes it the most demanding legibility problem a brand has. Name, what you do, one way to contact you. That is all that will land.

One system reaching a shopfront, a phone, a van and a form, each needing a different amount of it.
A doodle of the same van seen from the left and the right with a mirrored orange band, dotted circles around handles, windows and wheel arches, and a small eye with a sand timer in the corner.
A van drawn from both sides: the design has to be worked out twice, around handles, windows and wheel arches, for a glance that lasts about two seconds.
