Handover and training the client

Lesson 17 of 18 in The brand book.

Lesson

A brand book delivered without a handover is a document nobody has been taught to use, and the reasoning behind every rule leaves the building with the studio that wrote it.

In a meeting room with the projector screen rolled up, a client's team make a poster, a slide and a sketch around a table while a studio designer leans over one shoulder pointing out a fix.
At the handover, the client's own team make a poster, a slide and a post while the designer leans in to correct them. The screen stays off, because this is practice.
