A week of posts from one brand kit

Lesson 8 of 8 in Canva, properly.

Checked against the makers' documentation on 9 October 2026.

Lesson

This is one week of work on No. 4, the face oil pressed in small batches in Kochi and sold in amber glass. The brief was seven pieces for @numberfour.oil, four feed posts and three stories, made from one Brand Kit, one morning's photo shoot on a phone and one tagline. Brand fonts, Bulk Create and scheduling all need a paid plan, so it was done on Pro. The tagline was 'One oil. Four drops.'

  1. Question 1, locked

Why was No. 4's story built as its own template rather than resized from the post?

    • Resizing is not included in the Pro plan
    • Stories cannot hold brand fonts
    • 4:5 and 9:16 are different compositions
    • Bulk Create works only on stories
  2. Question 2, locked

Magic Write was given the banned words in its prompt. What was done after that?

    • Nothing more, since the prompt was enough
    • The captions were searched for each banned word
    • The captions were translated and back again
    • Canva AI was asked to rewrite them a second time
  3. Question 3, locked

Why were the photographs placed by hand instead of through Bulk Create?

    • The Bulk Create CSV could not carry images
    • Bulk Create is only on the Free plan
    • Magic Layers had to process them first
    • Canva Print needed them placed by hand
