The Python libraries update, the model weights on Hugging Face take new commits, a ComfyUI graph's custom nodes change, and a hosted model id can be retired or swapped. Open-source projects pin each one to something that cannot move, a version and hash for libraries, a commit for weights, a saved graph and a node snapshot for ComfyUI, and they write the hosted model id and the date beside every output because that one cannot be pinned.
