Weighting, emphasis and syntax that survives a model change

Lesson 7 of 13 in Prompting for creatives.

Lesson

Most tools let you push on one part of a prompt. The syntax differs everywhere: brackets in one, a double colon in another, a slider in a third. None of it transfers, and none of it is where the quality comes from.

A person carries a small cabinet with five drawers from one easel to a very different one. Each drawer has a small picture on it: a figure, a lamp, a lens, a stone and a cloud. Odd brass clips lie abandoned by the first easel.
The ordered drawers travel to any tool. The special clips stay behind with the old one.
