Building a prompt library you can reuse

Lesson 10 of 13 in Prompting for creatives.

Lesson

A prompt library is a written account of what reliably produces your studio's look. Almost nobody keeps one, which is why most studios relearn the same thing every quarter.

At a studio bench, an older person hands a younger one a worn ring binder open to a sketch of a still-life set-up with three dashed empty outlines for an object, a surface and a lamp. Coloured tabs stick out of the binder.
The binder is the studio's memory: a fixed look, fill-in templates and notes on what worked.
