The words for video

Lesson 5 of 9 in The vocabulary.

How do AI video generation models work? · Google for Developers
Lesson

Video vocabulary is mostly image vocabulary plus time, and time is where the difficulty is. Everything an image model does well has to be done again, identically, twenty-four times a second.

A zoetrope drum on a table spins, showing a strip of small drawings of a leaping cat through its slots. In one frame, the cat's stripes have turned into spots.
Every frame must match the one before. One frame of spots is what drift looks like.
