ChatGPT has made pictures on version 2.5 of ChatGPT Images since 8 September 2026. Ask for one in any conversation, or choose More and then Images. It can take a few minutes, and you can keep using ChatGPT while it works. The useful part for product work is that you can start from your own photograph, up to 20MB, and say what should change. OpenAI says Images 2.5 is "better at preserving the subjects in your reference photos" and better at "editing only what you've asked for". That is a comparison with the version before, and the help page still warns about edits that spread.
