Writing an interface's words with a model

Lesson 6 of 11 in AI for interface design.

I Built a UX Writing Agent in 5 Minutes with ChatGPT (Fix Bad Microcopy Fast!) + Free Template · Edward Chechique
Lesson

Interface copy is where a model is genuinely strong and where its default voice is genuinely wrong. It will produce something clear, friendly and utterly generic, and generic is a brand problem when every button in a product sounds like every other product.

voicewho the brand isthe sameeverywheretonehow it sounds in each momenta welcomean errora receiptbad newsseriousplayfulthe tone changes with the moment. the voice never does
A brand's voice stays the same everywhere, while its tone changes with the moment: playful for a welcome, serious for bad news.
Six small cards pinned in a row, all written in the same looping handwriting. Below, a hand writes a seventh card copying that style. A stack of cards in plain, generic writing is pushed aside at the edge of the desk.
Six real examples teach the voice. A description of it only gets you the generic stack.
