Trying a model free in a Space

Lesson 4 of 10 in Open-source video models.

Checked against the makers' documentation on 25 September 2026.

Lesson

A Space is a web page with a model behind it. Anyone can open a public Space in the browser, and most video Spaces run on ZeroGPU, a shared pool that lends each request half of an NVIDIA RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell (48 GB) by default, or the whole card (96 GB) at double the quota cost. The quota is daily. Signed out you get 2 minutes of GPU time, a free account gets 5, and PRO at $9 a month gets 40 plus the front of the queue, with the allowance resetting 24 hours after your first use.

One call to a Hugging Face Space: your script, the gradio client, the Space on ZeroGPU, and a clip in a temporary folder; the daily GPU quota is two minutes signed out, five on a free account and forty on PRO.

A free Space is a spoonful from a shared pot, and the queue is behind you.
