Plugins worth having and plugins to avoid

Lesson 7 of 10 in AI in the design tools.

Lesson

The plugins that last do one boring thing well: renaming layers, checking contrast, importing content, exporting assets to a convention. The ones that disappear promise to design for you.

A drawing of an unreleased product lies on a drawing board with a small shiny clockwork gadget clipped to its edge. A thin thread runs from the gadget out of an open window, slowly pulling a copy of the drawing toward it.
The helpful gadget has a thread out of the window. Check what a plugin sends before you install it.
